Purpose
Why our project is so important - now!

We focus on "helping people to help themselves"!
Inequality and a lack of education are key obstacles on the path to a fairer world. Instead of relying on short-term emergency measures, SDGs4future promotes education as a preventative solution. By "helping people to help themselves", we strengthen individual initiative and prevent existing power structures from being deepened.
Education empowers young people to solve local challenges themselves and act sustainably. With SDGs4future, we combine education and action to reduce inequalities and shape a fair, sustainable world.
What is behind our non-profit project "SDGs4future"?

One thing is already known: The world is facing a global crisis that will have far-reaching effects on our future and whose dramatic consequences go far beyond individual fates.
Without sufficient education, young people lack the knowledge to tackle climate change, social inequality and resource scarcity. This is exactly where we come in with our SDGs4future project: With the help of comprehensive sustainability education, we want to give young people around the world the tools to overcome these crises and develop solutions.
Sustainability education is therefore more than an opportunity - it is a necessity.

The global population is growing
- are we up to it?
According to UNICEF, there are currently 2.3 billion people under the age of 18 living on the planet, of which around 1 billion are between the ages of 12 and 18. This age group is on the cusp of adulthood and making important life decisions. Every day, around 370,000 children are born. That's 5 major stages - every day.
Young people have great potential to bring about change in the world, but there is already an acute shortage of teachers.
Too many children!
...under the age of 18 live on earth today.
...are born every day.
...will be born by 2050, according to the UN.
Too few teachers!

"But why should I help children in India?"
An attitude that ignores global problems overlooks the fact that we live in an interconnected world. In this interconnected world, inequalities are not without consequences - they affect us all, even if they seem far away. If children in countries such as India do not have access to education, their talents and ideas remain untapped and problems such as poverty, conflict and climate pollution are exacerbated. These sometimes lead to flight and migration and ultimately this has a direct impact on our lives. By reducing inequalities through education and empowerment, we promote stability, prosperity and innovation worldwide. Only by working together can we create a fairer and more sustainable future for all through meaningful prevention.

What will happen if we don't act now?
A lack of sustainability awareness due to a lack of education leads to environmentally harmful behavior.
Accelerated rise in global temperatures leads to severe natural disasters, rising sea levels and uninhabitable regions.
Massive migration (flight) to cooler regions, because uninhabitable areas will force millions of people to leave their homes.
Environmental pollution and health risks are increasing due to a lack of sustainable waste management, which pollutes the air, water and soil.

Ongoing environmental destruction, resource conflicts and widespread human suffering
A lack of understanding of
innovative solutions blocks valuable approaches to tackling environmental and sustainability problems.
High potential for conflict triggered by scarcity of resources, which increases the risk
of unrest and war.
Further species losses destabilize
ecosystems and endanger important services (e.g. pollination, water purification).
Persistent poverty and inequality are cemented without education, widening the gap between rich and poor and increasing unrest.
We are running out of time.
Together we
can break this downward spiral
Convey learning content via e-learning - quickly!
It is not possible to train millions of teachers in sustainability topics in a short space of time. The solution lies in digitalization through free e-learning via the Internet - for everyone, worldwide: teachers, parents, children and young people.
The mission: Spreading sustainable knowledge. Fast, comprehensive and smart.
Little effort - extremely big effect!
In contrast to traditional knowledge transfer, e-learning is scalable. This means that once learning content has been created, e.g. an instructional video, it can be accessed online by several generations over decades, millions of times over.
This means we are independent of the small number of teachers and sustainable education is conquering the world!
Learning sustainability - with or without a teacher!
The SDGs4future platform offers sustainability education on global and local challenges. Ideally, teachers use our learning content directly for their lessons. But it also works without teachers:
Our e-learning platform uses automated learning paths to enable young people to learn about sustainable thinking and action independently, in groups or with their parents.
A better future through education and commitment
The SDGs4future program has the potential to have a significant impact on sustainable development worldwide. Through the targeted promotion of young people and the integration of ESD, SDGs and IDGs, we are creating a generation that is ready to actively tackle global challenges. With a sustainable e-learning approach and the creation of evergreen content, we ensure that this knowledge remains available in the long term and continuously brings about positive change. By educating the next generation of changemakers, we are laying the foundations for a more sustainable and equitable world.
